OxyCon is the cloud side of the HOx IoT system. Edge nodes on each Raspberry-Pi-controlled rig stream dissolved-oxygen and temperature telemetry; OxyCon ingests it, watches for unsafe conditions, and pushes setpoints back down to the rigs β so every tank stays inside its safe oxygen envelope.
Idempotent, store-and-forward batch ingest into TimescaleDB β survives long edge outages and backlog flushes.
Per-tank oxygen and temperature, history charts, node liveness and backlog depth β refreshed continuously.
Threshold and stale/offline alerting. Because rigs currently fail open on comms loss, silence is treated as unsafe.
Versioned setpoint & PID config pushed back to each rig, re-applied on the edge's next pull.
The oxygen rigs currently fail open on a communications loss (firmware fix pending), so OxyCon surfaces stale telemetry and offline nodes as critical β an unheard rig is an uncontrolled rig.
